How it works
Indeed, developers combine neuroscience, psychology, physiology and Deep Learning to produce an effective AI engine called DeepAffex. And, it is the intersection between Affective Computing and Artificial Intelligence.
Video Capture
Furthermore, TOI™ starts by capturing images of the subject using any conventional video camera, including those found in a smartphone, laptop or tablet.
Face Detection and Tracking
In fact, TOI™ automatically detects and tracks your face identifying critical regions of interest (ROIs).
Blood Flow Data Extraction
Actually, human skin is translucent. What is more, light and its respective wavelengths are reflected at different layers below the skin and can be used to reveal blood flow information in the human face. Thus, this information is captured by and contained in conventional video images. Indeed, TOI™ extracts this information and securely sends it to the cloud to be processed by DeepAffex™, our cloud-based effective AI engine.
Signal Processing and Deep Learning
In addition, extracted facial blood flow data is sent to the cloud, where our DeepAffex™ engine applies advanced signal processing and Deep Learning AI models to predict physiological and psychological effects.
Results
And so, results processed by our DeepAffex™ engine will then be returned to your device for display and further analysis.
